Weight Loss Surgery HALVES Heart Risks

There was an article on Web MD, regarding a study performed on people who had undergone Weight Loss Surgery, and the positive effets it has regarding your risk of heart disorders.. This is a fantastic article to use to support your position regarding your decision to have WLS. Show it to your family, friends, DH, DOctor...if this doesn't bring them around to your point of view, you have to wonder if they really love you and want to see you around for awhile! :heh:

I was a normal weight 5 yrs. ago when I had 5-way-bypass, but I was living on cigarettes, coffee and working round the clock. When I gave up smoking I substituted food...what a dummy I was. I have now had weight loss surgery to lose the extra weight and my dr. feels it is the best thing I can do for my heart.

God Bless,

Dody
