Sunflower seeds

I have been eating sunflower seeds I think they are high in protein but also high in salt. I figure they can't be much worse than the can chicken or tuna. What do you guys think?

I do enjoy cracking sunflower seeds once in awhile. One thing I always notice though is that they also give me Water retention. I try to limit them to maybe once a month. Other than that they are nutritious and sure better snack than chips!! Which, I need to stay far far away from... LOL

Good luck!

I keep a bag at my desk at work and snack on them 1-2 a week... Mine are preshelled.

1/4 of a cup has 200 calories -- which I dont like how high of calories it is, but like Diva said, its better than eating chips!

7 grams of protien

I usually eat either non salted peanuts, almonds, pistachios or sunflower seeds -- one of these each day.. I need the fiber!
