new bander

Hi all,

I received my band on the 4th of July with Dr. Aceves. I am feeling well so far. I do have the left shoulder and back pain but hopefully that will go away. I have lost 10 pounds to date. :(

It is amazing the amount of support that I see here. I look forward to being a part of that!

Hi Rugersmom,

Welcome to bandland. You will do great. Make sure you stay on the doctor's postop diet. It is really important to use this time to heal. I found out the hard way by eating a piece of chicken (bad choice) 2 weeks post op. Make sure you follow. Good luck!
