Yup. Diagnosed at 28, I'm 56 now. I have relapsing-remitting type. Surgery and weight loss didn't seem to affect any symptoms.

    Hi! thanks for responding! I was wondering if it caused a relapse...just the stress of the surgery? I have the relapsing/remitting kind too...I am 51...diagnosed 12 yrs. ago. Only have had a couple of excerbations since being diagnosed. Just don't want to have one because of surgery! When was you surgery?
