Chicken Tomato Basil Soup

Tonight I made a pretty delicious Soup since I can have pureed foods. Here's the recipe:

1 can of Healthy Choice Heart Healthy Soup Tomato Basil flavor

1 can of Meijer Premium Chunk White chicken 98% fat free packed in Water

1 scoop Optimum Nutrition Any whey unflavored Protein powder

Mix altogether and puree. Heat if desired (but not over 130 degrees otherwise the Protein Powder denatures).

The entire recipe yields slightly more than 16 ounces (but not more than 16.5 ounces - it was kind of hard to tell the exact ounces in my measuring cup, so I just chose to calculate based on 16 ounces).

Calories: 470

Protein: 51 g

Carbs: 57 g

Fat: 3g

Now, being I can only eat about 4 ounces at a time, I chose to break it out by the ounce as well. So if your serving size is 4 ounces, you can multiply these numbers by 4 (or divide the above by 4 I suppose - didn't think of that before).

Per 1 ounce serving:

Calories: 29

Protein: 3 g

Carbs: 4 g

Fat: 0 g

I know it's high in carbs for some of you, but it was still good. The carbs are entirely from the tomato soup.
