Hi Guys,
I was banded on June 30 (a week ago now). I've mostly gone back to doing things normally, running about my daily business. But I'm severely confused about the 3 week liquid diet. I was told I could have blended Soups, Jellies, Custard...those kids of things. The other day I had a bunch of humous dip (I thought, blended chickpeas, some Protein, would be fine) and I felt incredibly full afterwards, and uncomfortable. My fault, I know. But I feel like now I can eat solids...I just had a few (GASP!) potato chips. Have I potentially destroyed everything and caused the band to slip into oblivion? Has anyone else out there cheated while on liquids? What are the repercussions?
I feel like I can eat mushies now and it's fine - essentially mashed foods are what I've been eating.
Btw I do feel discomfort and nausea, and I've stopped feeling as full as I did the initial few days after having half cups of fluids.
Thanks in advance for the advice.
