I was wondering if any of you were banded by Dr. Brody at GWU medical center. He was my surgeon and I would like to compare notes with some people that had similar experiences.

Hello, I have Dr. Brody, and was banded on March 8th. I have lost 40lbs so far and have had 2 fills. i am very happy i made this choice.:scared: the hardest part for me is drinking my WATER . Congrats on your weight loss and if you have any questions for me just ask.

I am scheduled for my lap band on July 31 and Dr. Brody will be the surgeon. I will let you know how things went. I have met with him several times about questions I had and he sat down with me and answered all of them and I didn't feel rushed. I just hope things work out for me.

Good luck with you upcoming surgery. Dr. Brody was very knowledgable about the surgery and really does take the time with his patients. He has always returned any of the calls I made to him within the same day. I am sure everything will go well and you will feel good soon.
