Getting nervous

Hey everyone, well I have my first appointment with my surgeon today and I am getting pretty nervous. He is an excellent surgeon but he hasn't done very many sleeves (under 20). I don't think many surgeons in my area have. I know that all of the docs have to start somewhere but still..... maybe it's just nerves in general and this is my excuse. I don't know. anyway thanks for listening

How was your appointment? Were your nerves calmed after talking to the surgeon?

Sarsar thank you for asking. My appt went great. He spend an hour and fourty five minutes explaining everything. I didn't even have questions to ask when he was through. lol. I think I'm in good hands. My surgery date is June 24th and I can't wait. I am starting the low fat preop diet and then 7 days before surgery the liquid diet. I can't wait to be on the other side and start my new life.

My doctor hadn't perfomed many band to sleeve procedures. I spoke to him at length, and checked out his credentials. He had a great background, and I decided that I would place my trust in his abilities. It's been 5 weeks postop and I'm doing great.

Glad to hear your surgery is scheduled so soon! Wow, you must be thrilled. Keep us posted on your journey and feel free to ask any questions that you do not see posted already.

I love my sleeve!
