4 weeks & 15 pounds

Hi all, just checking in to see how everyone is. I have been banded for 4 weeks and have lost 15 pounds. I was wondering if this is good or just normal weight loss. Can you tell me how much you lost in the first month? I have just been trying to stay under 1k calories a day, kinda hard somedays & others i am trying to get in atleast 800 before i go to sleep. Any pointers at this stage would be greatly appreciated.

Hi JJ,

I was banded on June 6th and I'm down only 12 lbs. I think 15 is fair. A lot of people have lost a ton really quickly. I am going in for my first fill on July 17th. So if what I have read is correct, we should see continued weight loss after our fills. Good luck.

Julie
