Back ache

I will be 3 weeks post-op on Monday. More than any stomach pain, my back is killing me. I rarely have had lower back pain, but about 4 weeks pre-surgery I was diagnosed with some disk bulges and a pinched S-1 nerve. I can handle about 3-4 hours of being up and doing things and then I have to lay down and ice my back/

Anyone else experienced this?
