6 months post

Wow! I had my sleeve on 9/24/10 at 227 pounds, now I'm at 164 pounds!!!!! from a size 20 to a size 10! i feel good, so good. I had my 6month post op visit with Dr. Suh in Corona, CA and he said all my labs are good and I will continue to lose for about 6-9 months! Now I'm living not just existing.

Can I ask what you have done to get such amazing results? I know sleeve, but are you extremely low carb? How much do you exercise? Do you count calories?

I'll be sleeved next week, hoping to have results as great as yours. I'll be at the same starting weight.

Thank you.

Congrats on your date!!! I drink Water and tea all day long, I do watch my carb intake more than calories, also protien shake every morning, and for lunch and dinner I eat my Protien first. Some of my Snacks are string cheese and beef Jerky. the excersie I do is walk, even when I go to the store I park far from the entrance !!!. Your going to do great just follow your surgeon orders.

Wow that's great. I can hardly wait to get there! May I ask how tall you are? When I was at 160 I was still wearing 12/14. I think it's my junk in the trunk though. I've always been "bottom-heavy"!

Did Dr.Suh make you loose 10% of your initial weight and how long was the liquid diet? Congratulations on your weight loss....I just got referred to him so just curious...thanks

I'll share that at my lowest weight of about 162, and being 5'4" I was pretty easily wearing size 9/10. Also remember not only our bodies are built differently, but different manufactures can vary greatly. There is the 9/10 petite, relaxed fit, long, etc... All those can really make a difference.
