I love this forum and all the nine million before-surgery requirements. Mine is simple: clear liquids for one day. Now, does that include the Unjury chicken broth? I can always ask the group nutritionist and will, but this forum has so much more fun involved with every question. Here I have ONE LITTLE day to mind the food before surgery and I'm already worried about getting a headache. Woe is me! How do people going to Mexico get to eat tacos and drink wine the night before surgery! Do they not have to drink that awful stuff and "sit" around the house for 6 hours? One more week for me.....

Well what I can tell you is that my post op diet is clear liquids for 1 week and yes it includes the Unjury chicken. As you know each of us has a different pre-op diet so checking with your surgeon is best. My pre-op is a weeklong and it is all pre packaged items I bought from the doctor, mostly Medifast. I start Monday. Not looking forward to it.
