TOM and blood thinners

My surgeon said I might have an issue and need to be seen during my TOM post-op since I will be on blood thinners for 30 days. Normally he would discontinue blood thinners upon discharge from the hospital but I had a clotting issue in pregnancy so he doesn't want to take any chances. What had me a little concerned to is that I hemorrhaged twice after having my twins as well. Any words of encouragement? Did anyone need to be seen during their TOM because of the blood thinners? Thanks ladies

things to watch for at home, getting big bruises or lots of little red dots in your skin close together ( petechiae). bleeding more than a teeny bit when brushing teeth. nosebleeds more than 2 drops, real bleed. similar, taking a long time to clot if you get a cut.... get plenty of iron and vitamins and eat some iron rich food when able ( steak, kidneys, liver, spinach, raisins). love sara
