February 20, 201115 yr I have had this cough for 2 days and a running nose. I'm taking extra Vitamin C and Vitamins. Will I still be able to have my sleeve done this Friday? Personally I'd say it would be about 50/50. When I went in for my pre-op they asked me if I had had a cough/runny nose/heavy breathing (while sedentary) that is out of the ordinary for me. I said "No, why?" and they said because if I did it may affect my surgery date because it could cause Anesthesia complications. of course it may be different for your Dr.'s.
