Bad EKG!! 3 days until Surgery.. MAYBE???

Got a call from the dr's office asking me if I have ever had an EKG done before last week. I had one in 2009. They asked if I could get a copy and bring it to my appt with the surgeon today.

Long story short... They said that the EKG showed that I had a mild heart attack. OMG!!! So as of right now I supposed to have my surgery on Thursday, but I'm scared the are going to call and say I have to wait.

I asked my surgeon if this would delay the surgery? He said no, but it's up to the anesthesiologist.

So here I am 12 days into a liquid diet and waiting for a phone call telling me I have to wait.

Has anyone had this happen?

Plus,

I've never had a heart attack.
