Feels like a pulled muscle?!?!?

Welp, I'm 3 1/2 weeks out and although I don't remember doing anything in particular, it feels like I have a pulled muscle right at the port area. Wondering if anyone else has felt this or is it something I should ask my doctor about?

What you're experiencing is quite common. As the swelling subsides, the sutures tighten. Since they are attached to the abdominal wall, it DOES feel like a pulled muscle. Some tylenol should help.

I haven't been banded yet but I think generally it's always a good idea to address any kind of pain to your doctor. Especially if it is near the area of your band/port.

Good luck
