January 12, 201115 yr I read somewhere on here and I can not find it in search about a person who ate pineapple post op and it did not digest and had to be removed? I think it had something in it that could not be broke down post op, are there other foods to be weary of?
January 12, 201115 yr Different doctors have different guidelines, but most eventually allow anything you can tolerate. I was cleared for all solids at 6 weeks and had lots and lots of pineapple (YUM) in the summer, without a problem.
January 12, 201115 yr I've not had any issues with pineapple. The post I think you might be referring to is about the fresh, raw coconut that was eaten around 6 months out and it turned into a bezoar? ? ?
