Getting Nervous

Well, I have committed to the Gastric Sleeve.

I started out 6 months ago with the plan to do the RNY, but after a lot of thought and research have decided to go with the VSG.

I think that is the right move.

6 months ago my BMI was 55.7, but thnaks to Weight Watchers it is now 52.4

I am going to get my surgery date on Jan 10th, but am really getting nervous about all this.

I have already had both knees replaced so I am no stranger to surgery.

I am glad I found this forum as it has already answered a lot of questions.

Congrats on the surgery date. I'm sure VSG will be nothing compared to knee replacement - I've had various fractures and associated ops, and I'm sure that getting your knees done is worse (I was on the same hospital ward as people that did get replacements).

It's natural to get nervous, but it sounds to me like you've already been through more. All the best for Jan 10th. biggrin.gif
