I just went through something like this but it was on the down side of a bad pb'ing. I found that prilosec, going on liquids/mushies, and drinking only water (cold was the best) helped. My irritation got worse before I followed those 3 rules to a "t." I ended up puking up blood and getting very ill before I called my doctor. Hope this helps, Susan. P.S. You can read about my scary ordeal under Lap Band Complications "Swollen or blockage."
