Handling Lactose Intolerance

Just wondering, reading about the protein drinks, yogurt, puddings, etc, I have to take a lac-taid pill before I eat anything with milk--do the protein drinks have lactose free brands? I do know there are chewable lactaid, I guess that would be better than swallowing the pill. Also, can you swallow blood pressure pill right after surgery? Thanks for any info.

I still crush my blood pressure pills, in fact all of my meds. As far as the lactose thing, most if not all protein drinks can be mixed with water as well as milk. If you want milk though, there are lactose free varieties. Good luck finding what works for you.
