Naked Protein Zone

Found this drink at Target today, all fruit, all natural with whey Protein concentrate and soy protein isolate.

Anyone hear of these? They have 30 grams of protein for 15 oz. I know I will drink this over the next few days but the carb content does bother me, 68 grams of carbs for the entire bottle...

Wow that was all I COULD drink for the first 3+ months out of surgery. It was over $3.00 per bottle and if it were not for that drink I don't know what I would have done. Every and any other form of protein drink even Bolthouse drinks nauseated me. They're no where to be found anymore in my neck of the woods so fortunately by that time I was able to incorporate other forms of protein in me through fish etc. I didn't worry about the carbs because there is NO ADDED sugars, nothing artificial either. If you look at the label (or my earliest posts) you see the ingredients are from whole fruits, etc. If it were not for those drinks I would have had been in trouble. That drink provided me with sufficient protein and the nutrients of fresh fruits. It usually took me an entire day of sipping to finish one 20oz. bottle. My weight loss was rapid during those months. I was worried about alot of stuff but not the carbohydrates from my daily Naked Protein Zone drink.

Thanks so much! Just tried the protein powder from GNC (cookies and cream), gross!!! I have Isopure RTD (like gatorade, sorta) and that is hard to stomach so if I can do these, I will pay the $3 a bottle! I do worry about carbs, I think that is truly what keeps me fat!!!

When I was drinking the protein zone drink (one a day...divided throughout), I think my total caloric intake daily was around 400-500. I lost most of my weight within those first few months. Let me know how it goes for you as you sort your protein sources out. I hope you do well in any case.

I love these things as well. These are nice carbs that shouldn't hurt you. Unless you plan on drinking like 2 of these a day LOL. I drink these to change up my taste a little, especially after a workout, they are great. Good luck. Oh! and I have found really nice coupons on these all the time so you can def. look out for them like in the sunday paper or even in your local grocery store.

Thanks Faith! I will look for some coupons, that will definitely help! I have one I bought yesterday and I am still working on it so no way will I get two in one day!

You look like you have done so well too! Congrats!
