Bougie size and brand?

I had my pre-op with my surgeon today and they told me that they use a 57-60 bougie size. My original surgeon, who went on vacation for 6 weeks, from the same office, told me 32-34. I started pretty much freaking out telling the surgeon that sounded really big. She was saying that the smaller you go the more chance of twisting. I called back and talked to the nurse that runs the program and thinks the doctor was talking about a different brand bougie or something. Not quite sure, but maybe someone can let me know if there is another brand that size 57-60 is not so big?

There is not very much data on bougie size, pouch size and weight loss. In my experience, which is extensive, a bougie betwee 32-40 French yields adequate restriction. A bigger bougie may yield too big of a pouch and inadequate weight loss.
