Well I just find out that I was approved to have my surgery on March 1. As you know I am already having an anxiety attack because I am suppose to be doing the pre-op diet, but I really dont know to much what I can eat...can someone shed some light this way...

And of course anyone else wants to join me!!

My date is March 17, three weeks from today. My doc says I don't need to do a pre-op diet because I'm a relative lightweight, but today I decided it was time to stop with the "last meal" thing I've been doing, so I've started low-carbing it until surgery. I figure every pound I lose in the next three weeks is a pound I don't have to lose after surgery.

I got some of the chocolate Isopure protien powder and it is not bad. I am only using 1 scoop because there are 20 grams of protien in 1 scoup so that should be enough for a meal. Right now I am mixing with heavy cream and water, but I will use fat free milk after the surgery while I am in the full liquids stage.

Hi! Today's my first day posting on the website, although I've been reading posts for a while. My sleeve surgery's scheduled for March 23, by Dr. Hargroder in Gonzales, LA.

Hey fellow March sleevers. I am scheduled for Mar 25th with Dr. Aceves. I have ordered a bunch of the products as suggested on theworldaccordingtoeggface.com, she has been a VERY successful RNY patient and now blogs, she has loads of recipes for a variety of protein shakes, etc. I am so excited to get going!!!!

Hello Everyone,

I've been stalking the boards for some time now. I'm pre-op and my surgery date is 3/11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just ordered a ton of samples from multiple vendors. I'll try anything once and I just have to find the right combination. My physician is Dr. Alanis in Houston Texas.........

I had the lap band on 4/4/08 and it was removed on 12/17/09. My doctor wanted to wait a few months to make sure that there wasn't any scar tissue and let my stomach retain it's normal pre-surgery size.

I took 2 1/2 weeks off from work, I can tolerate pain pretty well so I hope this surgery is just as easy as the lap band..............

I can't wait to post before and after pics:scared0::biggrin0::scared0::scared0:

Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused::thumbup::001_wub::thumbup::scared0:
