Well, I went for my preop psych visit on Tuesday and was cleared for surgery. Next step is to be cleared by a cardiologist. If things go well with the cardiologist my surgeon will schedule me for my EGD and Sleeve. The closer it gets to being real the more excited and nervous I get. I hope and pray this surgery helps me get my life back. I am soooooo ready to start living again!!!!!

Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly with the cardiologist, and you get your surgery date. Keep us posted on your progress ! ! !

how was your psych eval? I have mine tomorrow (well it's after midnight to technically today) and I'm really nervous for some reason.

Thanks guys....Blaqk, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. He just asked some basic questions and then I took a psych test and that was it. I am soooo ready for this surgery. How did your eval go???

it actually went well!

It took like 1 1/2 hours and she was asking a lot of questions bout my past (I have a history of self-mutilation) and I was worried that she was going to say I couldn't get it but yay, she said I was an excellent candidate!
