Surgery Friday!!...am I forgetting anything?

I think I'm ready, but wanted to run through supplies/hospital list once more. Is there anything else I might want or need for week 1 and the hospital?

Hospital: chapstick, face wash/lotion, deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste, extra underwear, tampon/pad (just in case), slippers, robe, magazines

Week 1: crystal light, broths, decaf tea, popsicles, Isopure(a requirement from my doctor), Jello, vit C/zinc, GasX strips, pain med/elixer, prevacid

I am half nervous and half excited......OK reallly excited!

Some suggest a heating pad to help with gas discomfort. I took a pillow from home because quite frankly hospital pillows suck the life out of me.

Congrats on your upcoming date, and keep us posted.

I took a small pillow to protect my wounds from the seatbelt on the way home from the hospital.

I also found my Ipod really soothing when I couldn't sleep I had loaded an audio book I just love being read to sleep.

Good luck with the surgery keep us posted.
