Surgery tomorrow!

WOW... so many things going through my mind, mostly excitement. I am sure the nervousness of going under and hoping to wake up will come tomorrow. I have surgery at 1:30pm and have to stop fluids tonight at 5pm.... it will be a long ride and wait for that surgery and can only imagine how thirsty I'll be ... did anyone out there have worries about things like not being able to just freely drink things anymore?

What was it like the day before your surgery??

I'll be thinking about you for tomorrow. I didn't really worry about the drinking freely after surgery.

I had to stop drinking at midnight the night before surgery, and was wheeled into the OR around 11ish. I wasn't thirsty, but I did hate not being able to brush my teeth thoroughly. It was nasty.

I'll be watching to see an updated thread from you once you get home ! ! !
