Relocating the Ports

Ok so my main port is located under my left breast and the remaining in the middle of my abs. If I get a Panni or TT, where would they relocate them to? Also how dangerous is relocating them?

Them? You only have one port. If you're talking about the other incisions, those are where they inserted tubes for gas, tools, liver lifter etc.

What's a panni?? Is it like a tummy tuck?

I generally will not relocate a port unless the patient desires a low-profile port or the bariatric surgeon has had trouble accessing it (they can flip after a lot of weight lo and from the sagging skin) Also, some patients feel that ports located under their ribs are uncomfortable;e and wish it to placed in the center, more under the breastbone.

Hope this helps !

When I had my TT they moved it from the belly button area up towards essentially my abs- I'm worried now it will stick out as I continue cutting fat and those abs peak out- is there somewhere else it can be relocated to, or would that just be a swap for a low profile port?
