Help Help Help!

Okay now it's going on the fourth day, mother's day to top it off. I am so nauseated. I am having trouble just keeping the water down. I just seem to be so bloated and nauseated. Everytime I try to eat a jello or popsicle, even sip water, I end up spitting it all up. I have tried the gas x and heating pads and walking and even laying on my stomach to see if I can get some of this bloating feeling to release, Nothing! Today has been the absolute worse day for the nausea, nothing before. I try to take my pain medication and it just keeps coming back up. Suggestions please and quickly!

Thanks

Vickie:cry

I'm so happy to hear you are doing better. I know about the "stubborn gene." I'll be all over a family member to call the Dr., but ignore myself. I'm going to remember this thread for a long time.

So glad to hear you got help and are on the mend. :biggrin1: I'm sure this was a scary thing for you. What kind of pain meds were you on? Did you have any other symptoms other than the bloating and nausea? Just want to be prepared myself. I'm sure you've helped a lot of people without even knowing it. :success1: Take care and here's to a good nights sleep. :)

Hi Vickie! I'm very very glad to hear that you went in and saw the Dr about this, and I'm even more glad to hear that you're feeling better. I told ya you'd be ok. *winks*

*big hugs*

Vicky, I'm so glad you're doing better!

I ditto what Stitchy & 3Loves said above about remembering this post and your helping other people. My surgery is 3 weeks away, and as much as I hate that you went through this, I'm sure to keep it in mind if I have any issues post-op.

Hang in there; you're on the mend now and will be better than new in no time! God Bless!

:kiss Thanks PhotoNut You did indeed tell me I'd be okay. That gave me just the feeling I needed for that day, and lots of other support thereafter. I was so grateful you were there immediately, just at the moment I needed some push. Wanted to let you know personally.
