Weird ?

I get banded tomorrow and was wondering do they weigh you at the hospital b4 surgery or do you just use your starting weight from home the morning of to track by??? Sorry this is probably super dumb lol :)

My hospital did weigh me. Most should I think as part of checking your vitals before surgery.

Usually they weigh you because they need an exact weight for meds (like anesthesia). Just ask them to do it if they don't routinely :)

They weighed me in pre op. So I am guessing they will weigh you as well.

They weighed me, too, the day of surgery. I have literally never entered a doctor's office or hospital without being made to step on a scale! But weigh yourself at home, just in case they don't and just in case you forget to ask. Good luck!!

I did not get weighed on surgery day. But I was during pre-op that happened about 4 days before that. I wish I had done a self weigh in that day...
