Esophageal Dilation

I am upset. I just had baby 4 months ago. I put on some weight and I finally went to get a fill to get back on track. After an upper G.I the doctor tells me I have a dilation. They took out the little fluid I had. Has anyone had this and did it heal on it own? How long did it take? I am worried if it doesn't correct it self I will have to have band removed. Any advice welcomed.
