First Fill Today

I got my first fill today only 3 cc's but I will take it. My surgeon is also making me wait 5-6 wks for another one. I am not going to rush the process but work hard with what I have!

I had my first fill also. 2.5 cc's for me bringing me up to 7 total. I was surprised how much that made a difference even in drinking water. Like you said, best not to rush it.

Did you get fluids on your band during surgery?

I was told and confirmed by several staff members that True Results does not start with an empty band at surgery. I had 4.5 at surgery. But that may not be the case for all providers. Seems to be a wide range of what is considered normal and customary.

When I went in for my first fill they said I had 5cc's in there already. They added another 1.5 and I felt the restriction right away. It was very cool and I was excited, but now about a week later I don't notice the restriction as much and wish I could go in sooner for my second fill. I'm getting hungry too soon and can't reach that satisfied-but-not-full feeling anymore.

My first fill was the same way 3cc for my first fill was the max my dr did then i had to wait 6 weeks to go back for another fill i did loose weight but was very hungry so i made wise food choices. congrats on your band and best of luck to you

Thanks, Mary! I'm managing to keep steady on the weight situation so far. Like you I'm making good food choices, but still anxious to get more fills to curb the hunger. But encouraged that I'm not alone! Keep me posted on your progress and I'll do the same. Together we'll look like movie stars!

My Doctor does not even discuss the CC amounts with the patients !
