Type 1 Diabetic buddy/mentor?

I am a Type 1 Diabetic who is going for her first dr. appt next week, and would love to hear from any other Type 1 Diabetics who have been banded.

    Hey was banded in April 2012 and been a diabetic for 12yrs. My blood sugar levels has been great my insulin intake has drop to almost 1/2.
