I had a fill ....

I went back to my Drs today and told him I went off my reflux tablets and the reflux has all but gone. He weighed me and I am up another kg since last week...he decided I needed a fill based on me being able to eat bread and I couldnt before...wierd I know.

Anyway he put in half a mil and I now have 10.1 mls in a 10 ml band...scary thought. I really hope I get the rest of my weight off with this fill. My fills usually take a week or so to kick in so I will have to wait and see. Thanks for all the advice and suggestions in my previous post.

Good luck with your fill Kellie! I hope it gets your restriction back for you. (((HUGS)))

Hi - I'm new to this board, and just saw Anwyn's message. I also had a band slip (December) and had it repositioned. I have a 4cc band, and am currently at 1.7cc's which is actually more than I tolerated with my original surgery. My new surgeon figures I was living with a slip for about 4-5 months. So I too am slowly getting back into the swing of things. I lost 50 lbs from the first surgery. Then I gained back 12 lbs. Now I've lost 8 of those. So I'm nearing my original weight loss. I need to get off my duff and exercise. I was much better at doing that before. Good luck!
