I would suggest a call into your Doctor to let them know you are struggling and get some professional input. Maybe they will at least allow a Protein Shake.< /p>

Do you mind telling us exactly what you've consumed for the last 3 days?

Not to be gross or anything but,,,fluid in equals Fluid out. I would definitely call the Doc and also maybe some Imodium.

Keep in mind, your body is detoxing. If your drinking your Protein Shakes add skim or 1% milk. Drink Water. Being dehydrated can suck u "DRY". I was allowed a small meal as well. Not sure what your doctor advised. I used up all 800 calories :) I didn't lose much pre op. Im 1 month post op n down 24lbs.

Hope you're doing better. All the advice given sounds right on the money. Give your surgeon a call and let them know what's going on with you.

Worst case scenario could be that you have caught a tummy virus :(

I called and got ahold of the nurse that is over the others that will help me after surgury and I was allowed a 12 ounce pepsi and a small serving of instant mashed potatoes which brough me up to inbetween the 1000 and 1300 calorie mark and gave me the energy and helped with the headache they figured even with haveing been off caffeine for over a week that in the detoxin phase or low intake whatever I might be experianceing a caffeine headache that I otherwise wouldnt have noticed so thats why I was allowed the soda which I consumed very slowly along with the instant potatoes I feel much better still have diarrhea not as often now but still its there I just have two days left and they are all liquid so... im gladd I will have family around to help me because if today was any indication of what is to come im gonna be a basketcase by friday.... they did however mention that they were gladd I called in and was feeling so bad because that tells them I truely am following my preop diet where as they have several come in have the surgury and are in so much pain afterwards and say they didnt do it... but the ones who do follow it usualy call in and are allowed a small meal and are in far less pain after surgury and recover nuch faster... thank you all for your concern and support I look forward to continuing my journy with all of you!

Well I have made it past my starveing hump I met my surgeon today I stop all food and drinks at midnight tonight and I have to be in at 8:30 am and sugury at 10 and then spend the night and hopefully go home the next day since my initial consultation where I weighed in at 322 lbs with cutting out soda and the preop liquid diet I have lost a total of 15 lbs that was not at all easy to do... basically starvation cause of the liquid diet for a week but I did it and will begin my new life tommorrow. ... or maybe a few days after that lol whenever I can stand to move lol

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
