Today has been rough

I don't know what it is but my band is NOT my friend today. This morning I tried to drink a protein shake and could barely drink it. It felt stuck. Since then I've been burping nonstop. Like not huge burping but little burps and then gurgling and my mouth gets all watery and feels like I'm going to throw up but I don't. Anyone have this before ? I think I might be too tight but I for my last fill almost a month ago so I don't know why now all of a sudden this is happening. I'm waiting for a call back from my doctor buts it's worrying me.

Your stomach is a muscle and is susceptible to swelling just like the rest of your body. Stomach bugs, TOM, too much sodium, stress can all effect your stomach making the stoma a smaller hole for food to travel through. Call your doctor is this continues.

I was blissfully in the green zone for about three months, and then all of a sudden I started having occasional PB's again, and over the course of about 2.5 to 3 weeks progressively got worse until I could barely eat soup. I went in and had a small unfill, .5 cc, and am much better, and am actually seeing the scale move downward again!!

That's the problem with getting a little too tight is that it can turn into a snowball effect. If you notice bringing food back up I'd recommend taking some liquid motrin and immediately going on liquids to let the swelling go down. If you don't it starts to get worse and worse until you need some Fluid out. Also, whenever you are especially tight it can help to take in lots of fluids to rehydrate your body. You can be in the green zone one day and be miserable the next just from not taking in enough liquids.

Try a warm drink first thing in the am. My band is always tight in the mornings.
