Akai Rice

Hi everyone. I was looking at a Chinese restaurant's menu on line and it listed Akai rice. Has anyone ever heard of it, tried it? Does it taste like normal rice? The menu said it is healthier and has more fiber.

Thank you for the help.

I looked it up; it is suppose to be a rip off.

Rice of any kind and my band do not go together.....one the foods I simply gave up to in order for me to be successful with this lifestyle.

I do eat Chinese (or Thai) food, at least once a week, and I will take maybe a tablespoon of rice and mix it in until you can't tell it is even there.
