What does too tight feel like

I had my lapband placed in Feb 2007, for the past week and a half i have the tight feeling pretty much all day. liquids do go down but they gurgle with each swallow. I am in no pain, and I am not tight, last summer i had some Fluid taken out, and my band has never been constantly too tight.

I have started a new job and cant really take time off, unless there is a real emergency to get an adjustment until after August. But I do have an appointment on Aug 15, I have to travel to Chicago to my doctor and am self pay at this time.

I guess my question is, should I just make sure I am getting enough liquids in and some food, and wait and see. I have had this before, but never this length of time. Usually it was just a couple of days. Only bad thing is there has been no weight loss.

I think it is not a good idea to stay to tight. I want to say I read that it can cause pressure where the band is and cause like a sore or something like that. Forgive me for not being more specific, but it just seems I read it was not a good thing to let happen especially for a long length of time. Wish I could have been more help but maybe someone else will chyme in, I just don't think it is a good idea to let it go, and you should definitely make sure you check it out more before making a decision to wait

I just went in yesterday and had .5 cc removed.

My last fill was in April and I was very happily in the green zone for three months. Then I started having just a little bit of heartburn that was easily controlled with Zantac. A few weeks later it was a little hard to swallow, then had a burning feeling in my esophagus and started having some regurgitation. Then I developed nausea after just a couple of bites of food. I've had nothing but Soup for the last week and even had trouble getting and keeping that down. After my doctor removed the .5 cc I feel like a new person!! My advice: Don't stay too tight -- in my case the symptoms only got worse!!
