I've hit a hard Plateu!!

Hey Guys. I am so happy to say that since February I have lost my first 50 lbs, no 49, no 47, no 50. Well close enough. Well since school has been out, I have continued exercising and following my lapband rules. I am in the green zone and that is great. Buts the scale is no longer moving. Its been about 4-5 weeks with up and down the same 2 pounds. Seriously people, I was so excited to be in a 12-14 by August and now I know that is not going to happen. I eat about 1000 calories per day. What are some tips you guys have to get things moving again. I would be great to average 1 pound a week at this rate. At least it would be something. Thanks for your help!!

They say changing up you exercise routine helps, you could try that. Or excluding carbs for awhile.. There is something that is called carb cycleling you could look into I know mis73 uses it when she hits a plateau. It is a book you can order off line if you want to look into it. I got mine off amazon I have not used it yet being as how I'm just getting started with all this, I am still in bandster hell still waiting for the right fill. Good luck

Carb Cycling sounds awesome. I bought the book and read the VERY long thread. Thanks for your help. Ill let you know.

I've never heard of that! What's it like?

I too have stalled for almost 6 weeks now and have looked into carb cycling as well. I also have looked into the 100 day real food challenge. I think any change will rev up the metabolism. Good Luck =)
