so I just have went to the doctor to have my psych evaluation approved. well he didn't approve it!!!!!!!!! he says I need to learn to take care of me and i never follow through with anything.......... I don't know how out of the four questions he asked me that's what he got , I'm so upset right now he tells me I have to go see a weekly therapist, I'm not quite sure how he expects me to put me first I have a family!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know what to think right now I'm just sitting here crying ready to give up

The fact that you are willing to see a therapist says a lot. Many people would've told the doctor to go to hell and just gotten another doctor to the surgery. Now if the therapist says there is no reason for the doctor to have turned you down then sure, go find another doctor. Also, I would ask the doctor for something specific on why he turned you down so that you could deal with it directly when you go to the therapist. As I've said before, I think that therapy is VERY beneficial for weight loss patients and the fact that you are doing it before surgery is even better. I wish I would have. Good luck!
