Are you tracking your calories and protein?

Do u have a nutritionist? I was banded aprill 22, I was at a stand still and meet with my nut, it helped, I also have been trying to use my fitness pal and track as much as possible. The scale finally started moving, I had 5cc at surgery and 1 fill 1 cc. I dont have much restriction, a little, I could eat 2 pieces of pizza! Mostly running on will power right now.,I hear ya though. Its so damn distressing and fustrating...good luck, hang in there

Hang in there, it just takes time to find the sweet spot. I am three fills in at 7.6 out of 11 cc and still don't feel restriction. I lost most of my weight the first two weeks after surgery.

It's very frustrating that things are not happening as fast as I like, but it's better to get filled slowly than too quickly, because there's a fine line between sweet spot and absolutely miserable.

Both of my in laws got the band 2 years ago and they got filled too quickly. They couldn't keep a thing down and ended up having to get unfilled and refilled under fluoroscopy. It took them some time to get to the green zone, but they both lost over 100 pounds and have kept it off.

Finally hit restriction at 6 CC here. And boy it was obvious.

It started at the doctors office. I walked out feeling like I could barely swallow my own saliva. I walked to the parking lot and stood by the car for several minutes to make sure I didn't need to go back in and have some taken out. After about 10 minutes, I felt okay and could swallow saliva without trouble.

Like you, I could eat 3 pieces of pizza no problem prior to the last fill. Actually, I could eat an entire pizza no problem and possibly go looking for oreos in an hour. Now one piece takes a while to eat and I feel very satisfied. There is no comparison.

I also immediately started dropping weight. First time since the surgery. First 4 days it was a pound a day. Now that the Water weight is gone, it's slowing down, but still dropping. I'm eating about 1/3 or less than my normal diet.

My opinion is that you still haven't hit the green zone.
