You were banded the day after I was. I also have never pb'd, but I do burp when i eat or drink. Nothing like a huge burp, just a little air. If you've recently had your fill it could just be taking effect.

From everything I've heard on the board, it doesn't seem like you can slip a band from running and you would probably have more tale-tale signs, such as being able to consume a lot more than normal or not being able to even swallow Water.

Sometimes after exercise my band gets pretty tight and it causes me to have a weird feeling too. I generally drink some room temp water and it will go away after a bit.

Hope that helps!

If you haven't done much exersize since being banded, you probably stirred stuff up in there. I know that for a good long time, whenever I moved in a way I hadn't since surgery, I could feel it pull in my stomach, or near my port.

I would take it easy for a couple days (liquids/mushies) and if it persists, or gets worse, then call your doc.

If you were banded only 6 weeks ago, you're still healing. If I were you, I would wait another 2 weeks before you continue the exercise regimen you mentioned. Walking is fine, but anything other than that may disrupt the healing process.
