Ok, I have just got my band filled yet again.... I have gained so much weight and I am obviously doing the wrong things. I have been eating dinner. That's about it. I work during the day and don't eat til I get off so..... I have been told to eat 5-6 small meals during the day, anyone care to share what they do. I.e what they eat. How much of it ? I lost 70lbs just from band itself, then had issued Nd had to empty it. Now that its filled I want to start losing! Fast and properly. I was told to do only shakes for 2 weeks, any ideas. I need cheap, not a lot of money at the moment.

Weight loss boils down to simple math, if you consume less calories than you burn, you lose. The easiest way to make sure this happens is to track every calorie you eat and stay to a cup or less of food per meal.

Btw, "losing fast" is unlikely. The average is 1-2 pounds per week. Be realistic with yourself and your goals so you don't set yourself up for failure.

Best wishes.

Ok, I have just got my band filled yet again.... I have gained so much weight and I am obviously doing the wrong things. I have been eating dinner. That's about it When Skipping eating all day is like putting a gallon of gas in your car and expecting to drive ALL WEEK, it's not going to happen. I work during the day and don't eat til I get off so... Start your day with Protein, egg, cheese, yogurt, steel cut oatmeal I have been told to eat 5-6 small meals during the day, Good idea, but often impossible for banders anyone care to share what they do. I.e what they eat. How much of it ? I lost 70lbs just from band itself, AWESOME!! you can do it again!! I did the same thing then had issued Nd had to empty it Are you saying they emptied the band? for what reason? if you were tight they normally reduce the amount, not do an entire emptying of the band. Now that its filled I want to start losing! Fast Slow and steady is proper and properly. I was told to do only shakes for 2 weeks, Yeah they don't want you to use liquids as a crutch, it's too easy and we all have to go back to REAL foods :( any ideas. I need cheap, not a lot of money at the moment., THINK real food, not cheap, BUT I know What your saying.

IF your work schedule doesn't allow allot of "down time" then you need easy Snacks to at least keep your engine working through the day. Breakfast= think outside the box, it doesn't need to be a typical Breakfast Cereal etc... I've seen others post about lean protein (leftover steak, etc..) hard boiled eggs, apple slices

Lunch= low sugar Protein Bar, fruit or vegs, cheese slices, yogurt ..It's tough I know, I lost 70, (life gets in the way sometimes) gained it back and lost 70 AGAIN .. YOU CAN TOO!!!! but you have to FUEL THE MACHINE~ GOOD LUCK

Why are you not eating during the day? That is very unhealthy for anyone If you are too tight you need to get some removed. As far as how much you eat you really should have guidelines from your doctor and or nutritionist. lf you do not have them you really should call your doctor. It also is very important to track and measure everything you eat.

When I am at work I just stay so busy I'm not really hungry. So when I get home I eat dinner, an I'm good. But I'm trying, I just need to get to where I was before with the band. I'm at 7.5 and still feel no restrictions. I'm not giving up just need to do it !

Maybe it's not the restriction but not eatting when supposed to and the right foods. You are not supposed to be eatting only one meal. For starters it is very unhealthy. Maybe you need together back to basics and follow your doctors guidelines.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
