Pre Op Calories

Im only on day 2 of a 3 week pre op liquid diet. But I've only consumed between 400-450 calories a day. Is that good or bad? I have a ton of Water thru the day and a Protein shake for Breakfast, I get hunger headaches midday an i have Jello then an hour later im having lunch which is Soup broth or a Protein Shake... By dinner time im starving an i have creamed soup with jello and/or a popsicle. But im only having about 450 calories. Should i have more? I just want this to be over.

  • Aren't you supposed to be drinking protein shakes or something? I didn't have a pre op diet so I'm not a lot of help? Usually docs or the nut will give you a pamphlet or guide to go by?
