My first fill(and first post!!)

I had my surgery on March 28th and had my first fill today. From what I've read it's not common to have a fill so soon, but my physician put in 3cc regardless. Apparently I have a seroma, or a fluid-filled sac that formed over my port causing my first fill to be extremely painful! I really hope fills aren't as painful from here on out. Has anyone else had this problem?

sorry to hear that. I don't have any pain when getting fill. I hope your experience gets better. Stay strong!!! Welcome!!!

I had my first fill today as well. Surgery was on 3/15/13. They only put in 2cc's today. I was a bit frustrated that I hadn't lost more weight from last appt thru surgery to first fill. (Only 12 lbs.) and I was hoping for a bigger fill. Oh well. Was hungry all day today and am going to bed early so I can start on soft foods tomorrow, if I have a good night, I guess. I got a lidocaine shot, but I didn't even feel it. Then the Nurse had to check something and left the "fill" needle sticking out of me! Wish I couldda had a picture of that! Next time, I think I'll try it without the lidocaine.
