My first consult is scheduled for April 16th, the day after my bday!!! I hope everything goes smoothly not sure what to expect

I had my first consult last month around the 25th and it went well. so well i went ahead and started the process, They did insurance verification before hand so they had all that ready when I got there. I talked with my advocate and she answered any questions I had. They took , blood, did the EKG and physical exam. I also talked to the nutritionist. HAd my Psyc evaluation last wednesday and now I am going to schedule my EDG and that should be it. Hoping to have the surgery June 10th

Whoo hoo!

At my initail consult I met with a nurse for background health information, a nutritionist to know what to expect, and the surgeon who gave me all my options. I was then given a long list of "To Dos' that took three months to complete (psych, sleep study, labs, etc.) I am proof that this is possible!!
