Surgery date first, still waiting for approval

My doctors office called today, May 1st; my paperwork is being sent out, does this make sense? Preop is April 23- I'm diabetic, I have sleep apnea- I have united health care Oxford liberty, you think I'm gonna be approved? Help!

Look at it this way...they see dozens upon dozens of people like you and with your insurance policy....feel encouraged that they feel confident about your approval.

In my office, we see claims we just know should not, and are not going to be a problem so we get a head start instead of waiting......

and if not, they re-schedule....no big deal. (other than you taking time off and arranging your schedule)

so be confident that they are confident....

I was approved 1wk to the day of my paperwork going in.

If you don't get approval, the Drs the one who has to change their schedule.
