Surgery Tomorrow!

I find it surreal that I'm here, the night before my new lease on life. I went for my first consultation back in 2006 but financially things just didn't work out. A few months ago, while shopping for jeans, a had a serious breakdown. I went to nearly 10 stores looking for my size jeans in Tall length...no such luck. I sat in my car and sobbed for nearly 30 minutes then went home, empty handed. The very next afternoon, I attended a seminar. A few weeks later i started saving and planning (self pay). A few weeks after that, i called and made my appointment. And here I am!

I am beyond grateful for this opportunity! Going to try to get some sleep (yea right!) surgery at 6:30 a.m.!!

Wishing you all the best in your recovery!! It is that determination and will to succeed for saving for self pay that will get you through the coming weeks!!! Stay focused and soon you'll be shopping in a whole new department!!

Keep us posted!!! See you on the other side!!

Congrats and hang in there. My first 7 days after surgery were hard, but then it's like nothing happened.

I felt like you. A new life is right!

Congratulations! I was self pay also!

I feel your pain on finding jeans in long lengths. No matter what size you are it's a challenge. Some longs just aren't long enough!

I hope your surgery was a success and your resting comfortably at home right now!

Thank you all so much! Surgery went good, they repaired a large hernia. At home now sipping, warm blanket across my back & shoulders and walking laps around my house every hour. Gas pains are intense, but otherwise I'm doing good :)

Best of Luck as you start your new life.... I'm very happy for you. You worked hard for this...

Josie
