Coughing causes pain!

So I've had this horrible cough for about 1 week now, (I'm in my PCP's waiting room as I'm writing this)

Anyways, I've been feeling discomfort in my band area...almost like a mild stuck feeling but I am able to eat and drink.

Just some mild pain when swallowing my food and just general discomfort throughout the day. Does anyone think this could be caused by my constant coughing? I'm wondering if I irritated my stomach/pouch with all of these coughing fits. I have never gone to a doctor for a mild cold but enough is enough!! I hope whatever she prescribed for me will help my band as well!!!

Has anyone had this happen?

Best wishes.
