No Fill today

Went to my surgeon today, he was going to give me a .5 cc fill , I am 3 1/2 weeks post op, but he said let;s wait .. I am doing good, not super hungry.. I have lost 15 lbs since surgery and he says I can start exercise . I have been tracking my calories on myfitness.com so, I am eating my cup of food with a couple of protein snacks a day and I am only eating about

700 calories a day..my nutritionist says I am okay as long as I am losing... I am kinda happy cause I wasn't looking forward to doing liquids for 2 days again but if I get super hungry he said to call him.. I have another appt in 3 weeks.

It's great that your listening to your body and band! Some people get to wrapped up in getting fills to fast, they think it's going to speed up the weight loss process! In reality a lot of times it causes more problems than benefits! I can tell you have the concept of the band and I feel your going to be very successful on your journey! Your doing great!

Congratulations. It sounds like things are going well for you. I didn't get my first fill until 4 months after my surgery. My doctor wants me to lose about 2 lbs per week. He says it is the healthy way.
