Hi all! I've been in the process of trying to get approved for LBS for awhile. I have anthem blue cross blue shield of Virginia. So I just called to see if maybe I had been approved and they said its pending from lack of clinicals (med records). Has anyone else had their insurance say this?

Also I have sleep apnea which I've had since 07 and they have two different sleep study records. My BMI is around 42 I've done the psych evaul and the dietitian so I just don't understand the hold up.

i would call and ask what med records they are missing and then call the people who havent sent those records in and see what their hold up is. it doesnt mean you wont get approved i know its a waiting game and a pain in the hiney because its something your looking foward to... i dont have your insurance or live where you live but thats the only suggestion i have! good luck!!!

Agree with Jen. Missing records are your docs office. Which med records r missing n call that doc n have them 're forward to your surgeon. It's not the insurance it's whoever has those med records. I have blue cross n it only took about a week to get an approval once they received all my medical records
